This week, the World Championship Cheese Contest is being held in Madison, Wisconsin. The event is held every two years and is a gathering of cheesemakers from around the world, all competing for honors in one of 79 categories. The sheer numbers are staggering - nearly 2,000 cheeses were entered in this year's event.
