Canada's Globe and Mail Newspaper has started a biweekly cheese feature in its Wednesday Food & Wine section. In the inaugural column, Sue Riedl discussed Salt Spring Island Cheese Co.'s Blue Juliette, a beautiful surface ripened goat cheese that's always been one of my favorites.
In Canada, Quebec and Ontario are the centers of cheese production so we're likely to see a cheese from British Columbia discussed only occasionally. Still, I'm always happy to see the spread of cheese discourse of any kind! Check the Food & Wine section today for the second column.
