Sheana Davis presents the 7th annual Cheesemaking Opportunities and Challenges Conference February 21-24th in Sonoma, California. The program features a variety of seminars as well as opportunities to mingle with a great variety of cheese folks from far and wide. Cheese will be discussed, dissected, analyzed and tasted and you are sure to get your fill if you can make it down to Northern California for this event.
Guest speakers include Clark Wolf, Rob Kaufelt of Murray's, Laura Werlin, Janet Fletcher and a number of other industry professionals whose names many would recognize like Sid Cook of Carr Valley Cheese Co. A few personnel from this neck of the woods, including myself, will also attend. I'll be presenting on cheese blogs with fellow blogger Bryce of Canyon of Cheese and others.
New this year will be several weekend events including an Artisan Cheese Fair on Saturday, held at San Francisco's Cheese Plus, and later evening wine and cheese tasting event held at the lovely Cheese School of San Francisco. On Sunday the Cheese Fair moves to Sonoma, with a host of events and tastings in the works.
