Terrance Brennan to Open Artisanal Outpost in Seattle area

Brasserie Artisanal Bellevue, WATerrance Brennan, the man behind Artisanal Premium Cheese and its (former) sister restaurant, Picholine in New York, is coming to the Pacific Northwest. Nancy Leson of the Seattle times wrote today that he will open Artisanal Brasserie & Wine Bar as well as The Artisanal Table by September in Bellevue. According to Leson, he's been scouting locations for new outposts for some time now, and considered Chicago and Boston before being lured to the West Coast. Though Brennan's Artisanal (the cheese business) was sold to American Home Food Products in 2007, Brennan remains committed to spreading cheese goodness - he promises Leson, among other things, a bar du fromage - "think sushi bar," he says, "but with cheese."
